womenIt’s okay to ask questions if it’s good for your health especially before you decide to go for treatment. Knowing the answers to your questions will enlighten you especially in stressful condition. However, it is sometimes difficult to know what to ask, that is why some websites are open for their visitors to ask a gynecologist online and this is really helpful before undergoing surgery.

Possible questions can be applied to all conditions like infertility treatment, ovarian cysts or fibroids removal, hysterectomy, D&C, tubal ligation, birth control, or other gynecological procedure. But some other questions need exact details to the procedure or condition.

There are websites provide checklists online and it is essential to look for each questions before approving to any gynecologic surgery. If this is your first time for having surgery and you don’t have a checklist to guide you, you may fail to remember the questions you expect to ask or you may as well be embarrassed to ask questions that you think you should know the answers too. Thus, a checklist serves as a guide which provides you to know the most basic questions. With this, your fears will be reduced on asking for explanations from your gynecologist.

If this is your first appointment to your gynecologist, the knowledge gained from the checklist will make your visit more relaxed and productive. Bring with you your list of questions and don’t leave the room without answers that make sense to you.

Hi I am a 20 year old female. I got an surgical abortion on June 12 of this year. I blead for about 1 1/2 weeks and then stopped. I started to have sexual intercourse about two weeks after the procedure. I was supposed to begin using birth control pills but never did (they caused terrable migraines) and i had gotten pregnant while on the shot. So i decided after the abortion to turn to condoms. Well anyway I know it wasnt the smartest decision but there were a couple times after that that i did not use a condom and my boyfriend had ejaculated in me. After that there were two times that I spotted and that was on July 4 and July 13. It has now been 4 weeks since the procedure and still no period. I wanted to know can I be preganat agian and how possible is it. Thankyou for reading and i hope to hear back soon.

Hi I’m Angie, I have a rheaumatic heart disease and my doctor said pregnancy or child birth will put my life in danger. Now it’s been a week that i missed my period and i had home pregnancy test and it says positive. Would it be very dangerous for me to have an abortion? More dangerous than Child birth? And would any gynecologist perform abortion to me since it can be consider as therapeutic? Do you know someone who could help me?
Thank you and hope to hear a reply from you ASAP

I have a few questions. My last menstrual period was Sept 8 2009. I am pregnant and went to the Dr. they measured my hormone level and said I was about 5 weeks pregnant. and my ultrasound says close to that. Does the 5 weeks include conception or would I have conceieved the week before. I am worried about this because I had unprotected sex with two people one who I have had sex with on a regular basis and the other one was a one time thing. Sept 27th was the time that I had sex with the person who it was only one time. I am trying to figure this out or have a better idea. I am super embrassed about this.
