Goal Not Met…
My title is all about the issues concerning the midst crisis of the health care providers and their responsibilities to their client. Ideally, the most effective way of caring for a patient is to be with him/her every now and then or in layman’s term we call it “touch therapy”. I mean, the fact that these things (e.g. getting a diagnostic exams, physical assessments, planning a treatment of care, implementing each action and documentation) are routinely done but still isn’t enough, One of the most important methods that the nurses and doctors must be apply to the client are empathy and a holistic approach, in that way the client will manifest a sense of satisfaction without being harmed or threatened.
The shortage of nurses and doctors here in our country is a threat not only to their administration (e.g. colleagues, professions, client) but also to the country. I cannot imagine myself working in a ward with 100 patients who need my attention every now and then. What happened to the nurse-patient relationship practiced? If this situation will continue there is a possibility that the conduct and moral ethics of every health care provider will not be implemented or practiced because of this midst crisis.
The Government must implement a law wherein additional salary and benefits should be allotted, especially to the nurses who work in the public hospitals. Dealing with this kind of job is not as easy as everybody thinks. Both the physical and psychological abilities must be performed in a right tract in order to deliver a quality of care that the client must receive.
